What Is ParaEx ? |
|
| We have been
around longer than any organization in central Ohio. We officially
started conducting cases in 1997. Back then, we operated under the
name of "CPIG" or Columbus Paranormal Investigation Group.
Shortly afterwards, we decided to change our name to Paraex. The name was chosen because it was unlike any other name out there. Paraex, is short for Paranormal Experience.
|
|
| Recently, to accommodate the increasing needs of our clients and to provide professional development opportunities, Paraex has now been divided into two overlapping and collaborative units | |
| The Division of Paranormal Studies | |
| The Division of Field Investigations and Research. | |
|
What do we charge? |
|
| Everything we do
in the field is 100% free of charge. The only thing we get out of
our time is knowledge and further understanding. We are an official
"Ohio Non-Profit Organization" and currently awaiting approval of
our federal 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status. Our number one goal is to progressively seek new ways to research the paranormal. We do this by conducting mutil-organization experiments, laboratory tests and detailed studies. We also employ R&D (research and development) efforts in order to figure out what works best in the field, technology wise. Secondarily, we act as the number one top supporting organization to the TAPS Family! The TAPS Family is a network of paranormal groups, trusted by our friends at The Atlantic Paranormal Society. The TAPS Family consists of some of the most experienced and professionally conducted organizations in the United States. We have a wonderful relationship with TAPS and will be doing lots of good things with them to better the paranormal field.
